About the Author

rhonda lynn payton, a proud native of pittsburgH, pennsylvania

is a lifelong learner and dedicated entrepreneur. She embarked on her educational journey at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, and later pursued Business Management at Boyce Community College, complemented by a certificate in the Hospitality and Travel industry. Rhonda's entrepreneurial spirit shines in her roles at Tidewater Finance Company and as the CEO of Hair Beauty Motions and Avon Beauty services. She's also made her mark as a Co-Author of "Words of Wisdom for the Heart and Soul," contributing to both Volume II and Volume III. In addition to her professional pursuits, Rhonda's heart is filled with love for the Lord and an active commitment to her community. She is an engaged member of First Baptist Church, Logan Park in Norfolk, Virginia, where Pastor Michael Johnson and 1st Lady Lolita Johnson lead the congregation. Within the church, Rhonda serves in various ministries, including Deaconess, Missionaries, Ushers, and as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher. Her dedication extends to leadership roles, having served as President of the Missionaries Ministry and as Chairperson of the Women's Day Committee. Beyond her church, Rhonda's community involvement knows no bounds. She's been a driving force in events like the CEO of a Clear Vision, Women's Prayer Breakfast, and Group Prayer Warrior. As 1st Vice of the Tidewater Peninsula Baptist Association's Women's Department, she's played a pivotal role. Moreover, Rhonda has been a steadfast Team Leader at the Annual Area Sickle Cell Walk in Norfolk for over two decades, as well as the Annual Cancer Walk and Annual Heart Associations. Rhonda Payton's life is a testament to her loving and gentle spirit, admired by everyone she encounters. Guided by her unwavering faith, she lives by the word of God, finding inspiration in her favorite scripture from Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV).
